Newsarama just posted their list of 10-most-anticipated genre movies for 2013 and Man of Steel is #1. Their quote:

“And now begins the six month march for the most important film for Superman, DC Entertainment, DC’s movie franchise, and Superman fans alike.”

The 1978 film is, in retrospect, pretty important for a lot of reasons, but for right now that sentence is spot-on. Judgment will be passed on the alien, fictional creature: will he get 2+ more films and a new place in our collective minds? Or will he be locked away with Howdy Doody?

No coincidence that Superman is in CHAINS.
